This isn’t a goodbye, it is a ‘until the next time’.
We have crossed an ocean using manpower only, via a passage that no vessel our size, has ever voyaged along before.
This row is a testament to self belief, the undying will to complete a task regardless of the sacrifice or consequences, to never stop and never quit.
It’s been a roller coaster of emotions; fear, boredom, excitement, extreme fatigue and above all an overwhelming feeling of camaraderie and achievement.
It’s okay to give up as many times as you wish, as long as your paddles keep moving
