As I said to Aldo by the early to mid evening you start to get NW to N winds between 5 to 12 knots (from behind) the swell will be still from NW and wind waves will start to come from the direction of the wind ie NNW to N. After this evening your winds will be consistantly NNW through to NNE. This will give you a chance to increase your average speeds to a much higher rate – keep your spirits up lads!! We always knew this was to be the harder passage – why I selected a more southerly route to try and give you a better speed – and you have done absolutely fantastic!!”
